Doctor was AMAZED!  -  Debbie Arabsky

In November 2008, my doctor told me that I would probably need to go on high blood pressure medication.  It was suggested, that if I could lose 5% of my body weight, it may help.

In January 2009, I joined ” Break Out Bootcamp” with Carol Laviolette.  Not only did I end up losing approx. 1 pound a week, I felt the best I have felt in years.

After 3 months, I returned to the doctors and my doctor was AMAZED.  Not only had I lost 10 pounds, (and 4 inches) my blood pressure was perfect.  It went from 138/90 to 120/80.

Thank you to Carol and Break out Bootcamp.  I feel fabulous and plan to continue attending boot camp, losing weight and feeling great!!

Hooked on Boot Camp!!!!  -  Ellen Abeele

I started Boot Camp 6 weeks ago and thought I was too old to do this kind of exercise.

I just turned 60 years old last week and I’m found out I’m not too old!!!

Even though I have a lot of weight to loose and toning to do…over the last weeks I lost  6.50 inches.

Carol is a real motivator as well the other people that come to the class.

I have already signed up for the class starting in September. Come and join the class, it’s hard but very rewarding.

Can Curl Again  -  Darin Laface

I joined BreakOut Boot Camp because I felt that I was using the chronic pain from a Motor Vehicle Accident many years ago as an excuse to not do what I love in life and that is to be active and pursue my passion in life which is to curl competitively.   For the past few years I have been on the World Curling Tour but when the season came to an end last year, I felt that the pain I was feeling on a daily basis was not worth enduring.  I was about 15 pounds overweight which is why my knees were always sore.

I decided to join BreakOut Boot Camp with a group from work and when I started, wow, was it hard.  I have lost most of my goal weight (actually I have a new set of weight goals), plan on curling competitively again this year and for the first time since my accident almost eleven years ago, I played Slow Pitch Ball this past summer.

Since my accident my right calf has had no feeling and the muscle had not grown back.  During the fourth session of Boot Camp, I started to get a bit of feeling in my calf, which means that the muscle is starting to grow back.  Although it will never reach the size it was before; it is because of continuous exercise that anything at all is happening with the muscle.

Going to BreakOut Boot Camp on a regular basis has given me more energy and more patience at work and home.  I am continuously watching what I eat using the wisdom in regards to nutrition Carol has passed on.

I highly recommend trying BreakOut Boot Camp as Carol brings a very positive approach to exercise and is willing to answer any questions you may have about nutrition and health in general.   Even in the hardest of times during a session there is always laughter, which encourages results among everyone taking part.  The best part is that, although it can be competitive, everyone supports each other.

MORE ENERGY!  -  KIM

Carol worked with me as a personal trainer and the sessions were great.  She then informed me that she was now running her own boot camp and encouraged me to join.

Well after some procrastinating! I did it and am I ever glad I did.

I had lost some weight, but I knew that I had reached a certain plateau and that I would take exercise and perseve to achieve the rest of my weight loss goals.

It’s fun to be in a group situation with people who are all trying to improve their health and strengthen and tone.

Carol encourages you to push yourself always showing different variations of an exercise, according to your abilities.

You will be amazed at what you can do.  My stomach has never been flatter, my legs are now stronger, not to mention more energy, and the overall accomplishment of doing something for me.

I’ve received numerous compliments on the way I look, and I tell them to try BreakOut Boot Camp.     I hope to see you there!!!!!

Thanks Carol

BreakOut Bootcamp was great!  -  Kylie Brundell

Carol kept it fun and always different; I barely knew I was exercising (most of the time).

I gained a noticeable improvement in my fitness and muscle tone, after only one session.

I will definitely be back.

Thanks Carol for your motivation and enthusiasm.”

BEFORE AND AFTER

I have just finished 6 glorious months of boot camp. The grilling power sessions coupled with reducing my bread and dairy intake has had a few nice benefits:

1. I can chase the garbage man up the street with my garbage can in hand without getting out of breath.

2. I went for a run with my husband who has run faster than me for the last 8 years, and after adding in about 20 lunges, stairs, and (what is the name of those crossovers-running sideways thing), I smoked right by him much to his surprise.

3. I can now skip rope without wetting my pants.

4. My kids are enjoying a happier mom

5. I get to buy all new shorts this year

6. Running up 2 flights of stairs with my laundry basket used to be my strength training, now it’s a walk in the park

7. My asthma is under control and I now have something to say to people who complain “I can’t exercise because of my asthma”

8. I have all these new boot campfriends! (who patiently listen to me complain about the exercises that day…)

(According to my scale I am at 17 pounds off since I started. )

IT’s NEVER TOO LATE…..

My wife and I are ‘early fifties’ and were concerned about joining a boot camp which, we were sure, would be comprised of a group of ‘kidletts.’ We were pleasantly surprised to find a very diverse group. ‘Makes and models’ of all kinds, all ‘shapes and sizes’, ages and abilities.
What is REALLY great is the manner in which Carol has everyone feeling comfortable, irrespective of age or ability level.  Aside from having a great time, we both lost weight and inches!!
This environment really lends to working at your own level….and feeling comfortable when doing so. We’re going back!!

Prize Winner

I signed up for boot camp because I had become lazy and too couch bound. I was nervous at first that I wouldn’t be able to keep up or that the pace would do me in. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun Carol made each class, the camaraderie amongst all the participants and how working at my own pace was all that I needed to do.

I love BreakOut boot camp! It is more fun than working out at a gym and I have seen great results. In fact I won a prize for most inches lost in my session! I tell everyone I meet about how great a job Carol does and that they should join us at BreakOut Boot Camp!

No Drill Sergeant

Well, after a long and frustrating battle with my weight,my boyfriend encouraged me to join BreakOut Boot Camp with him. I’ll admit I was a little hesitant at first to join any type of boot camp, thinking that I was going to come face to face with a drill sergeant type instructor! This was not the case with BreakOut Boot Camp.

Carol is very accommodating to each and everyone’s physical level. I never once felt out of place or discouraged, and gained confidence with every passing class.

With the motivation of the other campers and Carol’s set routine to maximize results, this was by far the kick start I needed. In total I lost 8.5lbs and 4 inches and I’m still going strong!  I now have the energy and motivation to continue in my quest to feel great, thanks to Breakout Bootcamp!

Are We Having Fun Yet?

Encouraging words…

“I hit the big 40 this year and wanted to make sure that it was a year to remember!! Bootcamp has been one of the best things I have done. I have gone from being completely unfit to actually feeling strong and empowered – four weeks makes an incredible difference – if you work at it you WILL see a difference. Although I didn’t lose weight I lost inches!!! My husband says I now have the best butt around. The sessions were never boring! Carol has so many different games and ways of making you work its amazing. Its not easy but you feel so good when you have worked as hard as you can and get to the end of the hour in one piece! So next time your arms get tired blow drying your hair – think Break Out BOOTCAMP!!

Best Wishes, Debbie C
